


Dorset Ladies County Golf Association requires a
Regional Committee Representative.
This is a key role to ensure effective communication between the Regional Committee and the County.
The Regional Representative attends SW Regional Meetings to present the views of the county and her AGM, Executive and Delegates Meetings as and when necessary.
Applicants should have served on a County Executive Committee or have similar administrative experience in ladies’ golf, be organized, be an effective communicator, IT literate and have access to email.
We would like to co-opt a suitable candidate now as a lead-in to the role though
the actual appointment would start as from the County AGM in October 2010.
This is a 3 year appointment.
Training in Child Protection will be provided by EWGA.
An enhanced level CRB check will be required.
Expenses for admin and travel will be met by DLCGA.

The Assistant Secretary is expected to attend all County events where she will assist the County Secretary with administration and processing of results.
Applicants should have a keen interest in running golf competitions and have effective communication skill.
Some knowledge of Club 2000 would be advantageous
and experience with using a computer and access to
email essential.
The appointment is for 2 years, on completion the Assistant Secretary
is expected to become the County Secretary.
Training in Child Protection will be provided by EWGA.
An enhanced level CRB check will be required.
