Wishing all Dorset Lady Golfers
an enjoyable and successful
2023
HISTORY
The Association was founded in 1911
by a few golf clubs who thought it would help to form a county golf association to act as a central authority for determining questions which may arise – and to promote the welfare and interests of the ladies’ amateur game in Dorset. This remains as true today as it did then, with the main objective being the promotion of the amateur game and the maintenance of the traditions and rules of the game, as defined by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. This does not cover everything the County Association does, but we hope it helps you understand that we are here for club golfers at all levels
Also, we’re very welcoming of newcomers!
