Welcome to Dorset Golf

Welcome to Dorset Golf, promoting and developing the Amateur game in Dorset on behalf of all our affiliated clubs and members.

Dorset Golf exists to represent all golfers in the County, to promote the game of golf and is the link between Clubs and England Golf, which amongst its responsibilities includes the application of the World Handicap System.

County affiliation is via club membership and offers many benefits:

County Card (available on mobile app) providing reduced green fees at most golf courses in England
Competitions - available for all abilities & ages (not just elite players!)
Club Support - course ratings, WHS advice, governance advice, junior golf development schemes, rules/referee training, etc.
Growing the Game - our junior development program offers opportunities from club level via our approved Club Academy scheme.
