Autumn Meeting Entry
Due to the uncertainty of the Covid restrictions we recommend that you put your entry forms in close to the closing date.
We would also ask you to pay by cheque. If we have to cancel the competition it will be easy to return your entry fee.
We will keep you up to date with any changes.
All competition entry requirements are based on handicap index. This applies to all the DLCGA competitions including medal, stablefords, Interclub , County Foursomes and Scratch comps and is following the rules of WHS and England Golf.
For example, regarding the Interclub, it could mean that a lady with a handicap index of 20.4, and therefore, eligible to play in the interclub, might actually have a course hcp (on the away course) of 23. The course hcp would be used when working out the shots received and the order of play.
A team consists of seven players. The maximum Handicap Index is 20.4. Any Bronze Division players selected for a team, must play off the maximum permitted Handicap Index 20.4. Matches will be played under handicap, full difference of Course Handicap, and in Course Handicap order in the form of a tournament under the Rules of Golf.
